I think your comments are irresponsible and clearly not much thought behind them.

You speak of urges as if they are the only thing that tells us we are hungry. An urge could be an emotional hunger, boredom, depression etc.

the main point is actually this is not a diet. You don't concentrate on what you eat. You concentrate on relearning how to eat. Most overweight people do not eat because they are phyically hungry. They eat because it's there, they are bored, they are depressed, or it just sounds good (which is an offshoot of emotional needs).

All healthy people eat this way. They eat when they are hungry and stop when they are satisfied.

It's amazing to me the amount of people that slam this change in lifestyle. It's no different than not allowing a baby to walk to protect them from falling.
