Google Reader is now Social for your Google Contacts

Google Reader is now social...

Yeah!  But what does it mean?  First, it doesn't mean much unless you're a big fan of Google Reader.  So if you are a Google Reader fan, it means that you'll be able to see Shared Items from your Google Contacts.  What's a Google Contact?  I just made it up, but for now it means someone you're connected to on Google Talk.
