I don't like the term UMPC, which stands for " Ultra-Mobile PC". To me, PC = "desktop", so UMPC conjures up images of a clunky desktop on wheels. How else could a PC be ultra-mobile?
Here are some other possibilities. Which one sounds best to you?
- Device
- Network device
- Mobile device
- Firefox device
- Ultra-mobile device
- Ralph (hey, why not?)
- Small Access Device (or SAD..... just so the SEO people have some fun)
- Toy computer
Yikes, I can't imagine how lame I must sound. Overall, I'd have to opt for "toy computer". Your thoughts?
Note: Mobile phones will soon become UMPC's themselves, once screens get a bit bigger (like in Japan) and perhaps after Javascript, CSS and Flash are better supported.
With havin so much content do you ever run into any problems of plagorism or copyright infringement? My site has a lot of completely unique content I've either created myself or outsourced but it looks like a lot of it is popping it up all over the web without my authorization. Do you know any solutions to help protect against content from being stolen? I'd truly appreciate it.
