From the Orlando Sentinel, Central Florida has plenty of jobs available:
More than 40 percent of the jobs available in Orange, Seminole, Osceola, Lake and Sumter counties fell into three major categories in June:
Sales and related occupations, with 4,230 openings.
Office and administrative slots, with 2,179 openings.
Food preparation and service, with 2,074 openings.
According to the report, the vacant retail-sales jobs averaged $10.69 an hour and office and administrative vacancies ranged from $10 to $16.50 an hour.
Openings for most food-preparation workers and servers had average wages of about $7.80 an hour, with only short-order and restaurant cooks making more.
However, the sixth-largest job category -- about 550 vacancies -- was registered nurses, who average almost $23 an hour.

My friend bet me a lot of money that I couldn't get a car stereo installed in Lake County, claiming that Lake County is all toothless ignorant rednecks.
I spent the whole weekend on his challenge and he won the bet.
why is that? Are there really no professional people in Lake county?
